HU BLAKEMORE RHODES was born on January 19, 1933 and joined the Armed Forces while in SHELBYVILLE, TN.
He served as a 062B in the Army. In 16 years of service, he attained the rank of CWO/W3. He began a tour of duty on August 28, 1967.
On May 24, 1968, at the age of 35, HU BLAKEMORE RHODES perished in the service of our country in South Vietnam, Thua Thien.
